Walking the docks this morning
I had such fun assembling my "Water Resistance" photo essay here (PHOTOS & STORY) that I asked my wife to walk the dock. But not this dock, which has seen better days.

Like most docks, this one has locks.

This one had a forlorn fisherman watching a mechanic diagnose his outboard.

The main stretch of our Working Dock is cluttered with nets and lobster traps.

It's the early morning June gloom. But the weekend will be bright, I'm sure.

Boaters were out getting an early start on the 4th of July holiday which stretches the weekend from Friday to Tuesday.

Rentals haven't started yet.

Dog walkers start early.

Even though the morning is grey, we don't have to do without colorful flowers, even along the docks!

Look at those tuna fish.

Oh yeah. The boats are in and the catch looks good.

Waiting for fish.

Waiting for fish.

Waiting for fish.

Fighting for fish.

Selling a fish (painting).

Weighs more than I do.

Enough of the manly grey color; we have now arrived at the Pink zone.
Electric & pedal eco-boats have a limited audience with this color scheme...
We used to be moored just past all these for-hire boats.
And now the patriotic zone:
Have a great weekend
