I'm lucky enough to have both models from the same year, 1964.
When i started collecting birth year watches i wasnt aware how many omegas were transitional during that year. The speedmaster changed as did the sm300 so i've managed to get both models of each.
I also managed to find a near mint seamaster 321 chrono from 1964.
I love the movement and have a custom display back on my 105.003 as it deserves to be seen.

Yep, its 36mm, but nicely understated. I own a lot of pieces from 64 and many are only 32-34mm so i'm used to wearing that size. I also have a railmaster xxl at 49.2mm so my wrist see's many variations.
Thats a nice 69 speedy you have there. I prefer the 321 to the 861, but do have an 1861 calibre 1957 'replica'. The best modern hand wind speedmaster imo.
