Omega

Hi everyone! As usual, when I need a reliable source of information regarding omega, I turn to this forum! Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

I've just come across an Omega Officer which looks impeccable in everything: finely aged dial, proper caliber, appropriate hands etc... The problem I've got with it, is the dial itself: according to the omega database the dial should be of two colours with a bull's eye pattern. The watch in question doesn't. It has a plain creamish colour.

To your knowledge, can this happen? Could the Officer have been produced with a solid colour? Have you ever seen one that way?

but when it comes to vintage Omegas never say never. a close up pic of the dial would help us determine whether the dial is original or not if you can upload one.

these watches were made specifically for issue to officers in the forces of one of the skandinavian countries, Sweden i think. nice little pieces though more suited to the female wrist these days due to their size.
