Hi all fellow members,

I have this OMEGA cal 562, am not sure if it sits on the case reference 135.007-63.

It has a movt # 23073518, what case reference should it be on ??

the case reference is for a flat Seamaster, probably a Seamaster 30.  This was produced with a manual wind movement of the 30mm series,
i.e. a 28x or a 26x movement.   This case would not accept the automatic-date 562.

The cal 562 was a chronometer-grade automatic.  It was used in some Constellation watches and in some Seamasters (but not the case that you have).

If you do a search on Google you will easily find some of those references who used it.

  Maybe the books said so, but I have not seen any 562 in a Connie yet, have you ?

I have never seen one that is fully to specifications.

Something has always been wrong: for example incorrect stamping on rotor bridge.  I am still not convinced that the mention in the 'nomenclature' document of the Omega Museum is correct.

Chuck's website lists 562 (if I recall) but there are a few other inaccuracies on his calibre lists on collections outside his main interests.
