Just got this one back from the Spa!
Just thought I'd share some pics from this Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark II Racing.
I think it turned out very well.
It will be put into a safe for a while as this model is getting harder to find in nice shape.

Nice restoration, presumably performed by Omega in Bienne . . .
. . . the new pushers and crown are evident, but I'm not sure about the hands . . . have they been replaced as well? My recently departed Mk II was similarly restored, and I'm glad I didn't replace the dial . . . the lume had turned brown as yours, but it looked fine otherwise:

The watch has been serviced, polished and cleaned by a local watchmaker here in Ontario. He is excellent and the tender loving care aspects of watchmaking and I'm glad it has gone to him.
The crown and pushers are ORIGINAL and not replaced... The dial does have 2 spots on it but is vivid and crisp, not worth replacing in my opinion.
There is a list of parts replaced by the watchmaker which I will retain but now I am affraid to wear this... It truly is impeccable.

The watch was completed here in my home town in Canada by a watchmaker whom takes his time and does what he has to do to make the watch look correct. The hands are all original and I never thought of taking the pictures before this restoration. It would be rather impressive. I have not taken off the back as I am too nervous to scratch it.
The watch maker (master watchmaker in my humble opinion) has made rusted minute repeaters look flawless and if you have patience with him, the job is done right...
