its a 45mm, i prefer a bigger watch. As for the smaller one my preference for me is the larger one.

45mm PO, shown in letterman's pic, has large/wide "scallops" on the bezel edge, like a Rolex.

The 42mm PO has a "coin edge" on the bezel, with smaller, more vertical indentations/ridges; it's not scalloped. Here's 42mm, for comparison, next to a Rolex::
