Without explicitly revealing his number, the reported asking price of the example you presented is off of Bill's estimate by a factor of five.

Knowing Bill well, I'm sure he meant . . .
. . . that an original Omega Disco Volante on eBay auction would fetch around $2K. An extract would push the price slightly higher.

Yes, the small seconds subdial is big.
Appealing nonetheless for me, but as you say, one would need to see it in real life.
