Omega

A superb straight lugs case, an uber cool white and blue dial, and cherries on the case, the lollipop second hand for the chrono and the luminous bezel. 

I personally think it needs to be fittet with a metal bracelet due to its diameter / thickness ratio. The original leather band looks a bit too small on the watch. Here‘s a picture of the one i had for a few years.

Almost my favorite Speedmaster.
This comes close to the first place.
Honestly, i think Omega made too many variations of the Speedmaster.
Not only Omega, others do this also.
The Nasa Speedmasters are ok, and than not more than 10 others.
All the moon models are over the top.
That is why CK 2998 White Blue keeps strong appearance, tru, strong, no bla bla.
This said, i do not want to ruin an Omega party.
My way is more Constellation and Sea, but maybe i will ad one Speedmaster, and that one must contain the tru Speedmaster DNA, albeit i will announce that i will ad a NASA
where Snoopy fly in a rocket around the moon that seen at the back of the watch when i go for it.
Interested in the engine, which movement runs the CK2998? Manual wind? Auto?

Some watches are great to dissect completely.
Very interesting watches.

I guess the CK 2998 is a kind of Speedmaster that is a timeless one.

When i hop to the famous black models, they have some sphere, but are for me boring (dial), and i am happy Omega have some fresh shiny types that pops up and say hello. White, Silver, Blue, Rose Gold, Orange.

Only thing I would change is the lolli…never appealed to me but it works over all on this dial.

The lollipop is for me a lovely detail, and i want a watch from Omega with such a second hand. But first i want to ad a Globemaster to my collection.
Why? I think it would be a fine daily Omega to enjoy.
Than a Seamaster with lollipop second hand, and a Constellation.

Yes other friends have used that word with regard to myself. Myles…you’re very “rare”…

I think the reference with black dial with red touch is also cool, but the blue takes it a notch up imho.

What’s another “limited edition”? I don’t mind 😁
