They are different on the case back. And that is enough in my view.
When I wear my 18k white gold Speedmaster I do not need a hang-tag that says "18k WG" nor a similar inscription on the dial.

So? Cancel order?
I cancelled mine after knowing the full amount deposit is non-refundable and honestly I only like the Speedmaster out of the 3 so the risk of not liking it when seeing it In metal is high.
They will try to honor your number request but no guarantee so I passed.

... I can read 'Trilogy' but what's below that?
Regardless, I'm surprised that Omega would do this. After all, you can only wear one watch at a time. The knowledge that a particular watch is part of a set seems meaningful when the three watches are together in the box but much less so on the wrist.
Definitely a pity. I rather own all 3 "007" of the "regular" models (or whatever the number)
Than have this extra unnecessary text. I would think most PuristS rather have the clean dials than the little kit it comes with for buying the "trilogy".

I think the "trilogy" on the case back is enough. Sort of like a good lining on a suit. You feel how well made it is but the other guy doesn't need to know. And if he must know, well, that can only mean that he's a kindred spirit. The rest don't need to know especially if they don't know what these things are.
Imagine bumping into another guy with the same watch and you ask quietly if it's a trilogy or not.. that may trigger a satisfying discussion right there. As opposed to seeing it right off the bat and you wonder if the guy is a poser. Hahaha! Well I guess it could also work the other way as well. Reminiscent of what Patek did with that Nautilus anniversary model. Very polarizing. It will have its fans but I'd rather buy 3 separately if I wanted the set. Having said that, I'm only interested in the Railmaster. That particular SM never really floated my boat and as for the chrono... well, I prefer time only pieces these days.
Now imagine these puppies on a strap. Wow!

I understand the interest in the "trilogy". And I understand some people can say they actually prefer the extra words on the dial. My general feeling is most of our members will not, and tend to have a "less is more" attitude about such dial markings.
What I do not believe is that if it were 20 years from now (or 30, 40, whatever), and you came across 1 of each version in a vintage shop somewhere, who choose the one with the extra words? So I work it backwards and feel the same thing right now, meaning why buy the set when I can get each separately? I look forward to the collectors who go that route and manage all 3 models with the same number.
