And I agree with his position that, because of the roundness of this planet, that was impossible to make every one happy.
If the release of the ordering time was based on any time zone, the other side of the planet could complain.
About the no money for the ordering, it was because each person needs to pay using local currency (and taxes).
In any case, even Raynald was surprised with the speed that the watches were ordered. Omega was expecting 24-48 hours to drain the #speedytuesday inventory and this happened is 3-4 hours!!!
I consider, bar the issues that you pointed, that it was a great move:
1) Ordering through Internet.
2) Delivery at the nearest Boutique (increases each Boutique traffic).
3) Pay using local currency and on the country terms (In Brazil with up to 10 instalments!!)
I believe that if a grey dealer ordered more than one, the local Boutique can deny the sale, but this is my view.
If this multiple deny policy is in place, one on the waiting list should be called. Again, this is me. I didn't ask tk Raynald if thus policy will be in place.
