This is my first time sending my watch in for a service at local Omega boutique after ownership of close to 10 years, and wasn't really sure what to expect as I've heard some horror stories online. Glad when I picked up the watch, it is looking close to brand new, Swatch service of Canada did a fine job! Right before I sent it in, this watch was still running at about +4 seconds a day, quite impressive, I guess the coaxial escapement is a contributing factor here. The only small-ish issue this watch I had was somewhere around the 6 year mark the quick hour advance mechanism broke, making date adjustment almost impossible. For a few years I wore this watch basically just disregarding the date. Glad it's working again!
This was a graduation gift from my father so it means a lot to me, and seeing it back in perfect running condition makes me very happy=)
Back from service, looking like new! The old strap was basically completely worn down and had cracks on the underside, Omega offered me a replacement for $450(!) and I said no. I decided to try out a third party strap with red stitching to match the red markers on the dial. Think I'm liking it for now.

Even after looking at this dial for close to 10 years, I still find it very attractive and unique.

Finely finished movement, considering it's mostly done by machines. Quite surprised by the 100M water resistance, considering no screw down case back nor screw down crown.

Interesting 'feature' of this watch is that the side is actually see through sapphire crystal, although the view of what's inside is actually rather uninteresting.

Even the buckle was refinished, looks like they did a decent job not flattening out the Omega logo. Here I have to say the Omega deployant clasp is one of the best I've worn, very comfortable and secure, and really easy to put on and take off. No friction on the metal parts and also just tucks the strap underneath helping with the longevity of the strap.

If I have to nitpick, then there's 2 things:
1) There's a small dust particle left on the date window
2) The polishing slightly softened the lines on the case. The transition from brushed to polished is not crisp like original factory finish, and I do see slight bleeding of brushed finish onto the polished finish.
Overall I'm very satisfied with the service, and Omega really charges a very reasonable price for their service, considering it covers polishing. And the customer service at the Omega boutique is outstanding!=)
Also got to try on this awesome piece before I left:
Just surprised by how small it wears for a 44mm+ watch=O
