My first GP, an EVO3 Chronograph in Pink Gold. This truly is an impressive watch. Difficult to find words to describe the feeling of this piece....the esthetic and demure of quality are simply formidable!!!! This is my first GP of many to come I'm sure.
What an exquisite way to enter the horlogical world of Girard-Perregaux :-) The Laureato is truly a nice watch; comfortable and special. Nice choice :-)
Thank you for the picture! How about an impression on your wrist? There aren´t too many gold Laureato´s around, so i´m curious to see :-)
Enjoy it, but be aware - GP timepieces are affective and once you indulge, there´s hardly a way out :-)
Hii there,.....What a beauty.... but I'd prefer black dail, the F40 Evo3 that I saw at my favorite AD. Black Dail with pink gold and brown leather strap. GP quality is remarkable and magnificent.
Peter is right once you've own a GP watch you tend appreciate GP as a brilliant watch maker and like me I'm "high" on GP. Last year I bought 2 GP watches. The quality is at par with AP, VC or Patek. That is why GP is one of the top 5 watch maker. I consider my self lucky that I had chance to hold and feel the GP new and exqusite watches such as the USA-87, SH 2 Pro GYCC, wwtc perpetual calender, GP equation of time ladies watch the latest Cats eye tourbillon , vintage triple calender and view the Evo3 - 3 sapphire bridge, vintage magistrial, 3 golden bridge tourbillon, vintage 1945 tourbillon, GP opera series and Enzo ferrari tourbillon at the GP dinner in Kuala Lumpur. I've shook hands with GP numero uno Gino Macaluso. If GP invites you to attend a dinner finction just go........trust me GP is a wanderful host and they will indulge you with their collections and you will be drooling ..................
I must say you have chosen a magnificant piece. Easy for me to say, i have one with the black dial. I have had it since March and have enourmous pleasure in wearing it.
My compliments and respect for the nerve of going for such a outspoken piece as first GP. ( i did it too!)
I hope you, like me, will feel yourself fortunate every day you place such a special piece on your wrist.
