The more I see this one, the more I want to wear the blue one! If only the blue one had the Geneva Seal movement!
Blue is my favorite color...
But, on this watch, I wouldn't trade this for any blue AE and that includes the Maritime Blue version.

I tried on the blue version, the wider bezel didn't look good on my smallish wrist. But when a more muscular friend of mine tried on the blue version, it looked perfect on his wrist.

Thinner bezel, beautiful pink dial, no date and Geneva seal movement. Enough said?
I don't like the thicker bezel and the date at 4:30 is even worse.
What are your thoughts about the Bulgari?
This watch is almost perfect... Salmon dial (or blue dial is nice too), 100M water resistance, nice movement, great price, and ultra-thin. Movement is not Geneva Seal level though - finishing isn't the same level and it's got some wire springs in there (bar springs are allowed in Geneva Seal requirements, but not wire springs).
I like it...
But if I had to choose between the two, the less "avant garde" looking Chopard wins. That said, I don't mind having one of each. The salmon XPS and the Bulgari with a blue dial? Maybe someday...😉
I'm actually okay with the date at 4:30. I find the date there to be better than the date at 3 or 6.
But I can't deny that you're right - no date is definitely better.
