Some More Eye Candy
Well Blancpain made a BIG MISTAKE on this watch. At least IMHO. They made way too few. I know that it is popular industry wide to introduce watches as limited editions, but why take a watch that is perfect in every way and make it limited? This Villeret has everything: Blancpain's signature triple date moon indications, a secure calendar mechanism that won't be harmed even if you manually adjust an indication while it is in the middle of changing (that makes the calendar plate nearly as complex as a full perpetual), eight day power reserve, free sprung balance with gold regulation screws, correctors under the lugs (so no dimples on the side of the watch and the correctors can be used with one's finger), and a gorgeous full fired bombe enamel dial.
This could be my most versatile and wearable watch. And they are sadly all sold out now.

Here is the movement side.
So far no versions done in wg. There have been two plt versions: one with a white enamel dial the other with a black enamel dial. I know the plt/white enamel sold out in a flash and AFAIK the plt/black is sold out as well.

its not to everybodies taste...
..but i have the monopusher version of the triple calendar in steel. i absolutely love my watch, its such an easy movement to use - a clever solution to a rather annoying issue (it takes all of 5 seconds to set the watch). In short, I agree with you completely! Thanks for posting the pics, Tim
