Just wanted to say how impressed i am by the length of time it takes Blancpain to
service a watch. I sent my Leman Chrono for a routine service on August 17 2009
...told it would be back by christmas, then mid-january, and the now the
latest update is its still in the workshop waiting for parts - with no specific
completion date or any reason as to why it's taking so long. Well done Blancpain!

it looks like you are not the only one and the first one
If you check posts in this forum few years back you'll see more than few
with same problems / thematics regarding BP service.
It is really frustrating and sad because I like BP alot.
Cheers

Sorry to hear...
I just had some very good experiences regarding BP service. Something was very badly wrong with my Villeret Moon Phase and the watch also needed a full service.
I took the watch to a BP Boutique and the Manager did really outstanding job - the watch was fixed in about one month.
My experience about different brands is that the Brand Boutique might not be the very cheapest place to deal but they still can give a level of service most ADs can't. Still, the Boutique staff is dealing with Colleagues when organising things with the Factory.
Later, when I will have a good camera in my hands, I will show some pictures about things a Boutique can organise.
Best,
Kari
