Blancpain

I would be very grateful is anyone could identify the model of this Blancpain that a friend wants to sell.?

I am surprised that your friend has no idea what he wants to sell.

Anyway, is it manual or automatic. First would be Ref. 1180, second Ref. 1185.
The rest of the reference number depends on the metal. Which metal is it?

Hi Oliver, thanks for your kind help, I'm no expert on Blancpain's having only every had one Fifty Fathoms Triology a few years ago.

My friend wants to swap it in part exchange with a GP Worldtimer FTC I have, his watch is in 18k yellow gold, it's in fair condition but needs a professional polish and service but no box or papers.

For a small diameter piece it looks good on the wrist and was thinking it shold be worth somewhere between £1000- £1500, perhaps you could advise?

I know gentlemen, what can i say I'm a turkey when it comes to Blancpains...askme about Panerai's,  Audemars or even Rolexes and i'm not badly informed....I'll know better in the future
