Interesting because the air of family is evident.
Past and present in the same pic, a nice conection indeed.
But IMO I think that is really difficult to beat the Past.
Some examples about this past-present conection we have today. Nice re-editions are released in this years, but I think that is really difficult to beat the past, the feeling that a nice vintage watch can give us.
Panerai, Blancpain, Rolex, JLC, Longines, for example.... made great reeditions or re-interpretations of great watches.... but, The Past is difficult to beat.... The plexy-patina-tritium conection is hard to beat
Best my friend.

Love the shot. Nice to see different generations of Fifty Fathoms together! But there is one correction to be made. The Anniversary Fifty Fathoms and todays Fifty Fathoms do not have ceramic bezels. Instead the bezels are fashioned out of sapphire. This is far better than ceramic, becasue sapphire is much harder (9 on the Mohs scale, where only diamond is harder at 10). And it is because the sapphire is transparent that one gets a visual depth to the bezel that could never be achieved with ceramic. Enjoy your two terrific watches! Jeff
