Went in Search of a Polaris, returned with a Fifty Fathoms....forgive the wrist shot, I cut out as much of werewolf-esque curse as much as possible & let the watch do the talking! I found the Polaris, despite being hugely attractive horologically, less appealing aesthetically than the FF, the Blancpain on the side of the case is very cool....worn it for five days now and despite a little rattle, maybe a loose rotor, it's been great, subtle despite its size and really solid. Enjoy...I certainly am.

Congrats on the new FF! It's a beautiful watch!
Enjoy it!

Congratulations on your new acquisition, wear in good health.
I have a FF Chrono that I am very happy with, pleasent to wear and just very attractive. The was no way you could go wrong with such a choice.
To tell you the truth when I discovered the Polaris (already having the FF) I thought that it was so great that when I found one I just bought it. I liked the combination dress and diving watch.

George
Suggestion: change it.
See it the rubber strap will fit better or have a custom one made. There are tons of small strap manufactors out there.
Could try a Nato strap too. Don't know where to find one of those though.
This would also give you a reason to go out and buy the Blancpain stap changing kit that goes with the watch. I'm sure that you always wanted to buy it.

George
