Blancpain

Hi . I am new to this forum . I am trying to find a complete set of hands for my vintage mil spec 1 .Had the watch serviced and watch repair person misplaced original hands set. This is model with moisture dot. Movt is numbered 6214XX and is also marked R337. Watch is running fine but it's difficult to tell the correct time without a set of hands .Any help is appeciated .Thanks

You have 2 choices:

1/ Looking on the Net to hunt them, which will be difficult, be not impossible.

2/ Asking Blancpain to put a set of hands on your Milspec I, but, they will be filled with Luminova...

May you post pics of your Mil Spec 1?

     Watch is at watch repair . I will get it back and take pictures. As Blancpain used A Schild movements are the hands special to Blancpain or were they used on other watches that used the A S movements ? The hands on my vintage Aqua Lung use the same hands as were on the mil spec 1.Will Blancpain just sell the hands without having to service through them ? I am in USA . Will they have the parts in USA or will I have to purchase from Europe ? To post pictures are  there instructions ? I will be using photobucket .Thanks

A friend of mine tried to replace Hands for its FF Vintage, and Blancpain Paris sent the watch to...Swiss.

But he asked for a service.

The hands are specific to Blancpain, AFAIK.

I would recommend you to go to a Blancpain AD, and to ask him, he will tell you if he can get the hands for your watch without sending it to Swiss, and without having to do a Service.
