I've always felt like this model of the FF was a better incarnation of the luxury dive watch than the submariner, even on rubber it's not even close.
I fully agree with you, especially when it comes to the 1) bezel of the FF, 2) the movement finishing and 3) the rubber strap having an ultra luxurious feel (which is almost impossible to achieve with such material)..
The rubber strap is shockingly nice!
I have no idea how they made it feel so much more luxurious than any other rubber strap I've felt.
Beautiful but applying logic (why you may ask - fair question) it's the wrong metal for it
The pretend engineer in me screams, "steel or titanium", yet I really like it.

I just wish it was thinner.
A real competitor to the Yachtmaster RG w/ rubber strap.
And polished RG looks much better than brushed RG. The brushed version looks too plain, almost like a brushed bronze piece.
The black dial version is my favorite compared to the blue dial, and preferentially on the sailcloth strap.
