Was always a little worried of dropping my watch while putting on or off, so decided to get a deployant clasp. Didn’t know I had to get a new strap (without minder loops) in order to use it as well but like the clean look and ease of the push button release. Oh, did I mention that alligator straps aren’t cheap from the Blancpain store? LOL. Bought originally with bracelet but just think it looks sharpest on a strap…
Certainly a nice choice there! As for the straps - the OEM versions are often not the most flexible or good value. But some at least are good quality and look nice 👍🏻
Straps have the rubber coating on the underside as it really helps with the perspiration during the summer months. They are comfortable as well, and seem well made, as my other OEM alligator strap with tang buckle still looks good after a year and half use, so I guess worth it.
Don't know if it can be said in general for Swatch Group straps but my Omega DSOTM strap is also of superior quality that far exceeds several others I've tried including an Artem product, which I mention explicitly because they have recently been spamming me on an almost daily basis, seems like. Cheers Marc
Didn’t look quite right to me with only 2 subdials. The original was perfect but I guess didn’t sell enough to warrant keeping the line alive? I honestly love this Blancpain line the most for my daily wear. Elegant, sporty, yet stylish.
On the clasp vs the earlier press down/pull out clasp. It’s an easy on off for the watch now and is sleek looking without the minder loops that you need with the double deployant or pin buckle set up.
