I have been looking on the web but I'm a little confused on the Royal Oak and the Royal Oak Offshore. So, I have a few questions.
Was the original RO the Jumbo?
To get a minute hand on the RO do you need to buy the date model? I like the RO without a date but with a minute hand. All the ones with a minute hand seem to have the date.
Last. Is the ROO the chronograph model of the RO?
Thanks for you help.

Very 'quick and dirty' answers to your Qs:
-Yes. Originally the 5402, then 14002, etc. Current model equivalent: 15202. With date, no sec.hand, movement 2121. Same diameter as newer 15300 (movt 3120, with date and sec. hand), but jumbo is considerably thinner and more expensive.
- In the current AP line-up, the only non-date (mvt. 2120) 'jumbo' is the diamond-set model.
-There is a chronograph version of the RO (26300ST model, for eg.) which is very similar to the same size as the basic RO (39mm). The RO Offshore is the bigger (42mm dia, considerably thicker) 'Sports' chrono model.
Hope this helps, someone may well be able to contribute with more detail...or check the AP website.
Cheers,
Rob
Rob,
Thanks, that clears it up and explains the differences I was seeing between the different models. I like the original but also like having a minute hand so I think the date would be the model I'm interested in.
