finally landed this masterpiece after a very very long consideration process that spanned for over 5 years now.
since i first saw it it sang to me with its pure and bold character. simple yet complex. daring yet classic. and very very sexy.
very thin yet still makes a statement on the wrist. just the right proportions and nothing is overboard with it. a pure crrwation of the watch gods.
but most importantly this is the one that started it all (or at least its father and grandfather) set the trand. and this third or fourth generation suits very well the 21st century with a promiss to even stay and endure the test of time even further.
fellow purists its not a grand complication nor it is a EOT,definetly not a QP nor it is a chronograph. its just simply the JUMBO....what a watch

thanks for watching

After a substantial deliberation process of 5 years, you could not have done better. You hit upon the key point: The Jumbo is not super complicated, it is just super.
The thinness, as you said, makes its own statement on the wrist. There is a reason or reasons this watch has been around for nearly 40 years basically unchanged. I am happy whenever I see someone discover this watch or realize their dream and get one, passing over flashier, more expensive or more complicated watches. It reminds me of the light bulb that went off over my head when I first strapped one on my wrist: oh yes, this is THE watch (As Nicolas says above).
I hope you enjoy it for the rest of your life.
