Great experience @ Luxury pre-owned boutique in Geneve
This boutique was in a high rise office building maybe around 8th floor? At the time this pre-loved chrono was Euro 75K. Didn't pull the trigger but what a great piece!

Is that piece all white gold? I'm afraid I don't recall it if so. I can't imagine it is normal steel at that price.
This was a stainless steel piece - it was simply overpriced.
Well, priced for the era that I looked at it. I looked at during the hyper overpriced era.

At the time I already owned a Rolex Daytona (116520) Black dial and a Patek Nautilus (5712/1A) both in stainless steel. And this particular Royal Oak chrono - although stunning - didn't differentiate itself enough from the two SS pieces I already owned. Plus, the price was crazy at that time. Also, both my Rolex and Patek are 40mm cases which wear either exactly true at 40mm or perhaps appear even smaller as is the case of the Patek. But this 41mm AP Royal Oak wore like a 43mm case and I wasn't accustomed to the larger appearance and sharp lines.
