Royal Oak Chronograph Kasparov

Does anyone know why this watch is also known as the ROC Kasparov? Does it have anything to do with Garry Kasparov, specifically in that chess game which he played against Deep Blue?

If it was exactly one of these I am not sure.

I could be wrong but the “real” Kasparov is the white dial...

Kasparov was an AP Ambassador starting in 1996.

Over the years, I have seen AP Royal Oak Chronographs with all dial colors listed with the word "Kasparov".  

I know AP made a gold Millenary "Kasparov" model, here is a photo of the watch and special chess set that was provided with it (from AP Catalog #1):
