Marks on back case
Just removed the protective film from my AP only to notice a few dings - bit disappointed. Poor quality control from AP on this occasion

So it’s not a new watch directly bought from an AP Boutique or an AD.
Probably not an AP quality control issue then.

Posts like these are very difficult to evaluate.
So this is a brand new watch but out of warranty? Hmmm... so it is several years old. Have you owned it the entire time and just now started to wear it and remove the plastic?
Just stating my opinion, I do not believe that watch left the AP Factory with those marks on the caseback. How they got on there, when and where, I can't speculate. I see other marks in the sand blasted bottom finish too. It seems to have been worn and scratched by someone.
Had a similar problem
Purchased a navy Offshore and left the film on for a few months while wearing the watch. When I eventually removed the film it was slightly pitted. Almost as though a tiny piece of grit had got under the film. Took it to the AP service centre in London and they gave it a very light polish to refinish.

I hope you are not referring to those big marks as they sure look like hallmarks to me...
Is your watch the platinum 44?
My platinum 44 has the same marks in exactly the same place - they are hallmarks.
I just looked back at your earlier post...
And it appears that you too own a platinum 44. I'm no detective but I think the mystery is solved. They're hallmarks.
