Audemars Piguet

Without much further do, here are a few shots of my second Huitième, an AP that lives in the big octagonal shadows of its much-coveted brethren - albeit far from being the red-headed step-brother nobody wants...
Sometimes it pays to look at what's under the radar.

Although most of my bezels feature my favorite octagon, it is nice to change and vary once in a while...
My office clocks can't hide my clear preference though:

There's something so sumptuous about these pieces that can only be appreciated in person.

The original Bordeaux strap gives this rose gold watch a very different and distinctly dressy look as opposed to its steel-case brother covered in my previous AP Huitième thread... But the contemporary 40mm size makes this classic watch very wearable also for smart casual occasions.
There are more rose gold Huitièmes to be found for sale than steel versions at the moment - but both are equally rarely seen worn out there, I'm sure Fernando as proud Huitième owner would agree.
I mean, EVEN Amanico hasn't come across them often! ;o)

Great combo with the strap. To reiterate, it's a perfect size for both business and casual wear.

Milus offered these watch-movement cufflinks in 4 versions: rhodium-, rose-gold-, yellow gold plated and black pvd.
Here in Singapore it used to be available at Sincere.
