One of these vintage watches which is envouting me each time I look at it, the JLC Mark 11 issued for the Royal Australian Navy.

Its grained dial, its warm patina, its bold case, and its great hidden movement make all its desirability.

A great " small " watch, which was Worth some fresh pictures and a post.

This Mark 11 has aged extremely gracefully. One can tell that the Australian Seamen are extremely respectful of their watches.

.. that both, RAF & RAAF have been elusive so far in my small Military family..

Thus, at least I can send some greetings from their IWC Mark-11 cousin !

I've realized, that a good JLC Mark-11 is not that easy to find,
but I won't give up, before completing my little set !

Yes, at that point, you need to find a Mark 11, my dear hs 112 errr 111.

I was thinking "111" for Mark 11's, "112" for all others. Whenever I see these I think "HS"
