14 months have passed since I let this Watch to my watchmaker. I had a problem with the rotor which was hitting the Inside part of the case back... Months after months, I could feel how I loved this Watch. Its absence made me realize that. Not the most important of my collection, of course, but this P 476 from 1948 has a lot of appeal, to me. Its case, reasonnably sized, the movement, and of course, the dial, which is its true soul! I will take some fresh pictures, but here is one I took some two years ago, to celebrate an important event.

I can truly relate to your entry title for this single picture post.
The P 476 not only is significant for JLC,and the "genetic chain" ( am I right: the first automatic movement?),
but VERY personally for YOU.

As I had the luxury to have seen her in the real, i remember the delicacy with this
amazing patina, and her subtle appeal but with a lot of character - to enjoy, that's for sure !

Thus, I am feeling with you and hopefully will she be back in your good house.
