The Calebration of two Birthdays: JLC And Aston Martin.
This is a pity, I missed that event, because I as a bit to short in time.
I regret it even more when I see this picture, taken by Charly Hel / Pixhel:
JLC celebrates its 180th birthday, as you well know, but did you know that Aston Martin celebrates, this year, its 100th Birthday?
Astrid Aziza, who is in charge of the sales department ( correct me if I am wrong ) drives a beautiful car. I wonder if she drove the guests back home with such a car?
If yes, I will bang my head in the wall to have missed this event!

We missed again
It was a very nice event with plenty of amvoxes and beautiful cars.
My pics are awful thus I will only share a special version of the Chrono which has a grey dial flange and orange second hand (seems it is called "Concept"):

I thought yours was of a darker grey with a red hand.
It's my favorite with the Amvox 2 Chrono DBS in steel (the latter has the AM sign I don't like though :/ )

Very cool picture. I have the same watch but still on the grey calf leather strap which it originally came with. I see an urgent need to make a strap change! Today however wearing my AMVOX-1R (black with yellow details). Can't decide which of the two I like better...

I have a big weakness for this II P. I wore it for 10 undiscontinued days. And couldn't remove it from my wrist!

Those are my three JLC in platinum. I had exhausted my budget by that time so could never seriously consider the AMVOX-3 Pt.
Many other watches in my collection have been sold but I have kept these three special JLCs for a long time now. I often wear Panerai, AP or other brands but it seems I always come back to these three with a lot of pleasure.
Yes, a great trio. I have been dreaming of an EWC Platinum Boutique for a while!
Its ruthenium dial is captivating...

Firstly I apologise for putting this in the JLC forum although I am showing a Rolex.
But the car is fitting to the post so I figured I can get away with it.
Nicolas - lets see how good you are! I took my Aston for a drive today.
Your good with 911. But with Aston? What model am I showing here?
A hint: Within 100 yrs of Aston only the DB is considered the 'golden era'.
