Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie in Singapore this weekend (as well as some possible shopping?)

Looks like a fun and enlightening weekend for me. Two weeks ago, (while playing with the lovely Duomètre à Sphérotourbillon prototype in stainless steel) the kind folks at the JLC Boutique in Singapore invited me for a hands-on with this set of exquisite horology, the 3 piece set - Hybris Mechanica. Also in stock for an ogle is the new Deep Sea Chrono - which I have only prior had a hand's on in prototype version. In 42mm it's somewhat small for my large wrists but so beautifully formed... ah temptation is everywhere in a JLC boutique... For wearability's sake in humid Singapore, I may eventually settle for an NSA 44mm or NS Diving Chrono in the 46.3 mm I am so far more comfortable with. That will let me round out my three piece diving watch collection which includes my GP Sea Hawk II Pro 3000m in titanium. I hope my luxury-beater-watch-on-sophisticated-deployant fetish is not too obvious : )

I've just gotten back home from the boutique. As Amanico says, it's a sensational experience, that even non-watch lovers can appreciate due to the nature of the pieces. I explained it as going to a museum, to appreciate art, even knowing it's unlikely you're walking out with it : )
