About a watch when the watch is great.
Best,
Nicolas
Bravo Nicolas, what a marvellous review and beautiful pictures, I really didn't need the heat of these emotions as it is 41C here in Perth but what a pleasure to read and see these magical timepieces. Is it a coincidence that both JLC and Lange (being part of the same group) use German Silver? It's fantastic to know that there are people who can afford to purchase such pieces so it allows artists/engineers/dreamers to create them. Also it was very nice meeting you in Paris, great loughs and I loved your Geophysic.
Kind regards from very Hot Down Under.
Francois
PS: I'll keep you posted about that "Super Iconic, Super Rare, Not For Sale, Triple Sealed timepiece!!!!
Affordabilty is not an issue. I mean, I always have pleasure to see an Aston Martin in the street, and I am thnkful to his owner to have given me some seconds of paradise.
Same for the Sphero: I will certainly never get it, as it is both limited and not in my financial possibilities, but hey, it is also good to have some watches which stay in the Drema Watch List.
Was good to meet you in Paris, my friend. Good laughts, good moments, and some nice watches, too... I still have to post the famous " Ketchum ".
And yes, please, what about this mysterious Double Sealed Watch???
All the very best from frozen Paris.
Nicolas
By the way, do you remember I told you how much I loved the Duometre a Chronographe but that I felt it was too big for me? Well, in Singapore I visited the JLC boutique and tried the Duometre with black dial...and it is magic, not too big anymore!!!. It is incredible how a black dial instead of a white one on this Duometre can transform it so dramatically...I put it on my wish list now!
Kind regards
Francois
I was never able to decide which one I prefer, the platinum with its sublime grained dial, or the more powerful WG Black Dial...
You will have one of the finest, if not THE finest modern Chronograph.
Best, my friend.
Nicolas
Impressive, for sure.
And even more when you think that these exceptional pieces started to pop up in ... 2004!
Thanks for your input, Michael, and Best!
Nicolas
1s per day !!!
That's what I like really.
Nicolas, could you consider doing a review on the new Ultra Thin Tourbillion sometime soon?
That would be more "accessible" than this sphero.
Many thanks
Tri
Yes, of course I will post a review on the MUT Tourbillon.
I still have three or four reviews to post, on the JLC SIHH 2012 collection.
Stay tuned!
Best,
Nicolas
