But I think I dig this green alcantara strap on my NSA
It seems to hold up well in water, its already survived two days in the pool with no problems, not sure about salt water though. ( I’ll see after my Hawaiian holiday in a few months)
Some quick iPhone pics.
Thanks for looking
Drew

I think it looks great. Great that you are giving it some time in its natural element, too.
All best,

I typically don’t swim with any of my luxury dive watches (I have G-shocks for this purpose) but I couldn’t resist testing out the strap.

however I do LOVE the way the watch looks on articulated rubber strap a lot.
I believe it will hold up in salt water but I’m sure its not a great material for prolonged exposure in sea water.

One of your home made strap?
Love the combo, definitely.
And the alcantara looks very nice, certainly very comfortable, too.
Winning combo, for me.

Nicolas.
another home made special
This green alcanatra is indeed supremely comfortable, its actually thinner then the material I used on my black strap. I believe the thinner alcantara is typically used for headliners and the thicker ones are utilized in heavier traffic area such as car seats, arm rest, etc.
I do prefer the feel of the black thicker material, its stiffer with a great soft feel to them that conforms to the wrist and also more are durable.
Thanks for the kind words Nicolas.

on a few days in a pool so far, It does get wet but it seems to dry rapidly . I used nylon thread and waterproof adhesive to put together.
Thanks
Drew
And it looks very comfortable!
It reminds me that I need to get me a new strap for my NSA…
Something good for the summer!
