A nice polo shirt!

Of course there was more than just a nice shirt.....you don't think I was just going to post pictures of a new shirt.....

There was a Reverso for me as well!

Looks like a new model....

It is the watch that was the talk of SIHH: The Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931!

Simply magnificent.

Special thanks to Seth and Jim at the Beverly Hills Boutique for thinking of me when they received their first shipments of this watch (note to Seth - expect the phone to start ringing off the hook). Sorry about the quality of these photos. I'll have some more pictures soon, but I barely managed to get these before the battery in my camera died. I wasn't expecting to get "the call" today and didn't realize that the battery was nearly dead.

To all the other Purists...Call your local Boutique. The Reverso Tribute to 1931 has started shipping so hopefully your wait won't be long.

I have the feeling that the Tributes will become Community watches.

After the Polaris some 2 years and a half, now the TT R 1931 and the TT DSAs to come soon!

Seth sent me the polo shirt just for the hell of it, and the last watch I bought from him was my Incursion, which was almost a year ago. Mind you, a part of me wonders whether or not he's a bit psychic, since I did get on the list for the US Edition about a week after I received it.

and didn't think twice ..
And a polo shirt would indeed not be a good symbol,

Was just rationalizing about any goodie or twist, (to foster bonding even more) or such..
(Maybe a folder or so about diving, or Cousteau or a shell in plexi, or ...)

Not that the DSA's would require that, quite the contrary !

As they will be more than enough, by themselves, I agree.

I decided that I would make the choice simple. Whichever model arrived at the boutique first would be the one I bought. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out since I prefer the hands on the standard version to the American edition.

I was actually pretty jealous when I thought you were posting JUST about the shirt, so you can imagine how I felt when I saw that beautiful Reverso.  Actually I am delighted for you.  That is really a great looking Reverso.  I can't wait to try one on.  I think your photos are great...but please go ahead and take some more.

They were just some quick shots. What I need is an overcast day so that I can get some good glare free shots. Unfortunately (or fortunately) living in Los Angeles we just don't get a lot of overcast days : )
