Hi everybody,

Since 4 days I'm the proud owner of a JLC Master Compressor Chrono Lady JLC and I'm loving it !!!

But, I'd like to have some other straps (the croco one is very fragile and I'm affraid I will not keep it for a long time as I wear it almost every day-).

I was thinking about a White rubber one, or a brown one....

If you have any ideas/comments, I would be very happy to read it.

Buy the way, if you know a good online shop for JLC straps...

Congrats on your MC Chrono, hope you will share pics of your JLC with the rest of us!

IMO, custom is the way to go.  I posted previously about JLC Factory custom ordered straps here: jlc.watchprosite.com /

You can order factory JLC in a variety of materials, matching or deviating stitching, and size/lengths.  Here's a few pics of the possibilities with the ladies model, cool huh? 





I'll be posting shortly on some more color combos with some very unique JLC straps.   Hope this helps.

As DMRW saod, you should go to a JLC Boutique or AD, and as him to have an eye on the catalogue, or better, to some samples they may have.

Bring the watch with you, and compare, make some tests, you will certainly find the right combo.

Congrats on your great new JLC!  My esteemed colleagues have said it all, and I share their thoughts about the beauty and satisfaction of getting a custom factory strap for your new watch.  How about shark?  As your watch is a diver that might be a good choice!

I've been searching on the internet for info on JLC straps.  I had this website bookmarked to stay updated on a few brands I own.  I bought my wife a JLC Master Compressor Chrono Lady about four years ago.  Her model has the thin ring of diamonds along the bezel, so not so much of that 'diver' look to it.  Also, her model has the red markings on the face, not the lighter blue they switched to the year after I purchased.  Sorry, I don't have the exact model handy, JLC's website is very difficult to grab model info as well.
Anyway, white leather strap (croc looking) that came with the watch has always been a little big for her wrist.  I contacted a watch store years ago and they said JLC makes a smaller strap for this issue.   I can order one for about $300 from a dealer and wait 12 weeks, or I can continue my search online for after market straps.
If anyone knows of any reputable websites of companies who make JLC specific straps, can you pass them along. For example, I own several Panerai watches, and there are companies devoted solely to making straps for this band.
I love the options DRMW posted in a post, but it seems those were custom straps for a JLC dealer.  Any help would be appreciated... thanks  rob

Your wife watch sounds like the Master Compressor – Automatic or Chronograph (discontinued 2007/2008).

 

Ref 174 84 XX.

 

It should be quite easy to find a smaller strap for that one.

 

Try Hirsch for example.
