I am about to buy an AMVOX 3 from a friend of mine, so he allowed me stay with the watch a couple a days to make the decision. Observing the watchI noticed it´s gaining about 3 seconds a day. Is this a normal deviation for a tourbillon? Another observation is that to change the date between 31 to 1 I noticed  the date hand does not jump directly as mentioned, but in smalls steps between 00:00 to 04:00 am. Is this correct?

obviously the movement in the amvox III is different than the one in an MC Memovox, but in the MC Memovox, the date slowly changed and was not complete until about 1:20am. i found it odd that in light of the cost of the watch, the date did not flip completely around midnight but this method is common the mc memovox watch. i made sure to compare with other mc memovox owners.

... about the date. It has to cross all over the tourbillon, so it takes a couple of hours to go from 31st to 1st. Look at the bright side, the hands obstruct the view of the tourbillon for jst a couple of hours :P
Btw, its a very orignal watch. The material used, the design, and that powerfull look, makes it a good buy IMO.
