Just wanted to share som pictures of a recent acquisition, the Reverso Batman Forever. I believe these will be some of the first pictures of the stainless steel version on the web.
As some of you might know, "Batman" was produced in a total of 35 watches in the mid-nineties in conjunction with the movie "Batman Forever". 5 pieces were made in gold and 30 in SS, all of which where individually engraved and numbered. None of the watches were allowed to be distributed through normal commercial channels due to restrictions from the film studio, so the watches were either given away, used in auctions, as prizes or simply kept by JLC for later activities.
Enjoy the pictures!
I didn't know it existed!
These " event watches " are awesome.
You're indeed a lucky guy to own one.
Best, and thanks for the share!

hmmm.....I say "other" but it could very well be the same watch if you are in Singapore...
I thought the owner of that watch would never sell or even need to sell as he is surrounded by watches and immersed in horology from birth.
It is, indeed, a rare 'bird' or fledermaus.
Congratulations!

I think I know which watch you are referring to, but his watch is the Gold version and not the SS.
My watch is actually the one photographed in the current issue of WatchTime, as the previous owner was the actor Joe Pantoliano (Sopranos, Matrix etc).
I saw the interview some years ago that revealed the actor was a watch fan but I don't think he mentioned a Batman Forever JLC.
Lucky you!
Thanks for sharing.
Now that you mentioned, maybe the 'other' watch I saw was gold....age is a wonderful antidote to precision

MTF
surely not a version you see every day

Thanks for all the responses!
I am thinking about getting it on another strap. What do you guys reckon look good on a silver-faced Reverso?
