greetings, i recently purchased a Master Control Automatic circa 2007 and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival, i am wondering if the autotractor movement ever trickled down to this model, in at least one thread i've read seemed to imply that it had

No, I don't think that an Autotractor may trickle...

Hi,

The Master automatic doesn't have the autotractor calibre, but is somewhat "autotractorized", i.e. it has  ceramic ball bearings and  free-sprung balance !

that the Master Control Auto utilizes the cal. 899 movement, aside from the ceramic ball bearings and the free-sprung balance there aren't any other differences from the previous 889, correct?



"trickle" in this sense means that the movement has made it's way down through all the more complicated watches and now finally to the "base" model
