This beauty literally flew in this morning direct from Paris w/ a layover in Memphis.  I still have not unwrapped all the plastic or sized the bracelet and may not get the chance until Sunday.

But in the meantime I wanted to share a few quick pictures.  The titanium case is gorgeous.  The bezel fits tight and operates crisply.  I adore black and yellow (born in Massachusetts but have been a Steeler fan my entire life ); that said I really wish the center seconds needle were executed in yellow.  Very robust timepiece.  I look forward to sizing the "articulated rubber bracelet" - it figures to be quite comfortable and looks damn fine.  The nylon velcro strap comes w/ the piece, and the black calf w/ yellow sidewalls and double stitching was a custom order.

Congrats on your new arrival, I really like the subtle hint of yellow and the matching strap. It certainly adds to the exclusivity of this model. Thanks for puting up the pics, we don't get to see something like that every day!

Managed to size the bracelet today.  Very comfortable on the wrist.  Just love this watch

Does the titanium band from the regular jlc master compressor diving chronograph fit and match and fit/finish the JLC master compressor diving chronograph boutique version. I.E. do they both have a satin finish. Regards. Jeff Ilardi, MD

As the only thing which differs between the normal and the Boutique Edition is the dial.

Thanks for the response. I just want to be sure that the Boutique is also a satin titanium brushed finish. P.S. I have never bought a JL before, I have a zenith, pierre kunz, ulysse, corum, graham, bell and ross. How does the JL compare in terms of movement and craftmanship, etc. Thanks. Jeff Ilardi

They make watches with their own movements.

I would rate them much above the others you quoted, even U.N, which shares the same love ofr originality and innovation.

Zenith, of course is also a manufacture, but the design of their latest watches let me a bit ...Perplex.
