Well, looks like the Singapore JLC purists are indeed hard to flush out ! Looks like we have GH1, ralphmeister, MTF (?), a timezoner and myself interested so far.

Anyways, I am proposing that we get together on Friday January 11 at Indocine Empress Place at around 7pm ? Let me know if this is a good time and venue. Obviously, bring your watches, JLC or otherwise.

From experience, I'd like to share that PuristS events are usually held in private i.e. the event may be public but we do not reveal the exact location on a public forum.

Even though Singapore is a "safe" place, we do not want to put our forumners at risk.

We can change the venue and contact each other by PM/e-mail/SMS text to confirm the real location and time.

I have another "event" on 11 and 12 Jan, so I will contact Jerome (wylie) by PM to see if we can coordinate further.

Suggest everyone also PM to me with good dates around the original day.  [Jerome (wylie) has switched off his Private Mail function]. We can make this happen!

Excellent and prudent suggestion. Apologies for the oversight regarding security concerns. Obviously, I am still wet behind the ears when it comes to organizing such events :-o

I have switched on my PM and should be able to receive PM from here onwards. So, either PM MTF or myself with alternate dates circa the proposed Friday 11th, as suggested by MTF.

Those that has already expressed interest, please also PM your mobile contacts and email so we can communicate on revised venue and timings. Thanks.

Jerome has kindly re-scheduled the Singapore PuristS & Any Other JLC Fans' GTG at a secret location for Friday 25th January    (It will be within the sovereign territories of Singapore)

Secret Squirrel messages by PM/e-mail/SMS text to identify your real names and mobile phone numbers to wylie194. We need the mobile phone number to transmit final destination and also any changes if nefarious agents are spotted!   

Remember that our software blockes e-mail addresses for privacy so put spaces either side of the '@' if you want to use e-mail as your contact method.
