I think I was the first in Australia to get it (even before the Aston Martin owners ) and also the number I wanted.  This is a cracka of a watch and I love it.

That is amazing.  My good friend Yves sent me tons of photos of several of these beauties he just purchased and wants to unload.  This is serious timekeeping..

... for bringing this watch back to our attention more than two years

after it had been launched. It does certainly deserve this attention

and - to be true - now that the watch is covered in more and more

posts I am not so sure any more about my feelings on the Polaris

reedition. This reedition will have to be outstanding to beat the

AMVOX1 - a simple remake won't do!

I am confident that JLC will not settle for 'just' a remake. There will be something special about the 'new' Polaris I am sure.

with not just the use of titanium but also their research into crystal gongs and tuning of the pitch of their repeaters, I hope the bring it all to bear on the Polaris.

... matter discussed in anticipation of the new diver alarm (which turned out to be

the Extreme W-Alarm) as far as I remember. But the half-official statement was that

a crystal gong is way out of the price range.

So we must not hope for it on the Polaris, which is indeed a pity!
