Hi all
Am itching to buy my first Reverso. I know that there have been many variations over the years and i was hopping someone could break it down for me (or point me in the direction of a useful resource). What are the different case sizes? The website doesnt show it for current production models and there are a few discontinued ones i like the look of but again not always possible to know case sizes
I'm looking to strike the right balance between case size (large is good) and height (slim is good)
Many thanks for the help!
Hi Ashil,
Sorry, I don’t have the thickness of the cases with me at the moment, but the data below might help you visualise the watches, at least in two dimensions. Some have felt that the XGT case is too thick (at about 12mm), but I find that it fits quite comfortably under shirt cuffs and you learn not to walk too close to solid objects!
Enjoy your search,
Andrew
Grande Reverso (XGT) 46.5 x 29.25mm
Grande Taille (GT) 42.2 x 26.0mm
Classic 38.7 x 23.05mm
Ladies 33.2 x 19.5mm
and you will see I've posted pics many times of the Reverso's for comparison. I have a Grande Sun Moon (XGT size) and you'll see from the pics on my small wrists it isn't big at all.....in fact I tried on both the GT and XGT cases for size before ordering and I could not wear a GT personally....luckily the Grande Sun Moon is the one I wanted..!!!
If you can go to a local dealer and see some on your wrist - it will very quickly make your mind up and give you a direction to start your search for your perfect Reverso..:o)
Enjoy,
Andy.
