I did not know about the difference between round and rectangular pushers, but I can confirm that mine has a Valjoux 72:

Unfortunately the watch is in the safe and I don't have other pictures of markings, references etc... I will try to make additional pictures whenever I can to sort this one out !

My understanding for LeCoultre chronographs of this era is that they adopt the same numerical coding for reference numbers. Ref. 224xxx 2(Stainless Steel) 2(Chronograph) 4(Calibre 285, 287, or 292). Hope to catch more of your Chrono when it emerges from the safe. Best, Charlie D.
