Of course, although I find the area exposed to moisture to give it a bit of added charm. A small amount of character on the old timer.

Are you sure about the movement? If my memory serves me well, one of the hints of a UG movement in a vintage JLC Chrono is the rectangular pushers...

My understanding for LeCoultre chronographs of this era is that they adopt the same numerical coding for reference numbers.
