Two jewels of a Reverso: Jaeger Lecoultre Platinum Nr 2 Tourbillon and Reverso Tourbillon Skeleton in platinum.

The Skeleton was limited tp 35 pieces, and was issued one year after the Number 2 Tourbillon, in 2004.The Number 2 Tourbillon was limited to 500 pieces, but I doubt JLC issued all of them.
There is one thing you cannot appreciate on the pictures, the superb density of a platinum case. Platinum is a plus when it comes to watches which are not big.

Ah yes, I remember this piece
I had the privilege of handling this masterpiece. My friend has it and he once brought it for the reverso event in Singapore. It was a stealthy piece which no one really noticed, until it was handled. A nice heft, and a stunning verso side.

That skeleton strikes a great balance
Between tradition and modernity. Skeletons have tended to be overly floral in the past, this specimen was one of the first ones to go for a modern treatment. A delight indeed!
Absolutely. Cartier came with another one, in that vein a few years after. THIS is my kind of skeleton!

The skeleton, it will be hard to see it in the real life, since only 35 pieces were made. But the Pt Nr 2 is a very recommended one!

That the Platinum 2 is at once stalwart, elegant and relaxed. Really a unique watch. There are enough of them in circulation that they can be had it seems, for a brave soul willing to deal internationally. Mine was procured from Thailand to the US, after a year+ on the hunt.
