JLC ebauche for V&C Cal.203
I need your help guys, can't find much about this V&C cal. 203. Th VC Heritage Department could only confirm that it was movement based on a JLC ebauche used by V&C in the 20-30s and that it was the precursor of Cal.458.
I asked knowledgeable V&C afficionados and nothing else came out of it. I was advised to ask here the same question and i surely hope somebody could bring some light over this super rare and mostly unknown movement.
Most of the vacheron calibres from the 20's to the 40's were based on jlc ebauche, same with the former generation of overseas which also used a jlc based movement [nt]

It seems like it was almost the same used for Cal. 458, which was the next in line to Cal. 203, thanks Georges...
This ebauche...
was used by VC and by PP. Some of the old Patek literature will show the same architecture in their movements.
