A superb specimen I owned, from 1964:
Not too bad, I must confess... The only colored gold watch in my collection.
Intact bevels, superb case, untouched magnificent dial...
Even the date didn't bother me, which means a lot.
I replaced it by a rose gold version, E 399, too. But which came with the box and the papers, and from 1964.

Remarkable!
Not just the watch but your story that goes with it. Steel turning to gold (alchemy!); a vintage piece with the box and the warranty (archeology at its best!); and the ability for you to match it with your Geophysic. Serendipitous and extraordinary. Certainly easy to overlook a little matter of a date window. A remarkable watch; a remarkable story.
