They're nice shots of an interesting watch. I saw one early October when I went to collect one of my other watches from being serviced. Felt odd looking at what you knew was a mechanical watch with its seconds behaving like a Quartz one. A very under the radar watch & complication.
Have to say I was also surprised at how quick they had escaped to the wild from being announced- normally its months until you can actually see a new watch for real.
It's also worth noting that the textured dial is also rather good.

Indeed the first point of comparison to the Dead Second complication is quartz. I prefer a mechanical watch like most here so I was curious about the evolution into second counting on this watch. It is a very interesting mechanical story, the movement impressed me by its simplicity on doing something that for mechanical watches is hard. But also I think that the second time unit is the smallest time unit with use to the regular man. An illusion of greater time accuracy as it stops right on the second. I like it.
I think it was very smart of JLC to make the watches available at the same time as their marketing. Cheers

The TS is a bit austere so I think it will go well with a good variety of straps

loving this one more and more each time I see new pictures of it outside its more formal dressing, and even more so in your unique nato strap
