This happened by sheer accident. My wife and I were retrieving her birthday gift at the Manufacture Boutique (more about this gift later), she was selecting a new strap for her watch (a Master Reserve de Marche, if you ask) and I was chatting with the Boutique manager about the potential (or real ... Nicolas???) ending of the Amvox line (I was wearing my Amvox 2) and he show me this one.
Love at the first sign. I was hooked.
AMVOX5 World Chronograph is mine.
Lightweight, understated, complex ... Cool.

I can simply say: Is a true wonder.

I really like this watch
i have looked at the various versions so many times. Like you I own the Amvox 2 (2 of them) and somehow I feel the 5 is somewhat less than it's earlier brother...perhaps the value relative to the earlier lines turned me off.
In any case, a lovely piece which looks great on your wrist.

End of the Amvox line. No more potential, Nilo.
Since the agreement between JLC and Aston ended, recently.
So the Amvox family is as it was. No more novelties.
But that does not mean that JLC ended with sporty watches. I guess we'll soon see what they have under their sleeve.
As for the 5, the problem is the 2. When you put them side by side, when you compare them, the 2 is a killer. The 5 is a killed.

Each has their merits. The 5 is, correct me if I'm wrong, post Magali's era and ... How can I explain love?
I'm done with the Amvox line, except if an Amvox 1 Ti, by miracle shows up.
The Manufacture is addictive.
