Just a curiosity though, why would someone made of money and famous like Neymar wears a fake watch?

I've seen Neymar with a lot of genuine watches including an AP and some Hublot.
More than likely he was offered a deal here and didn't do his research. I'd like to see the dealers get outed as much as the stars in this situation.

A possible scenario, but I confess just a guess, is someone he was introduced to was wearing the fake RM, Neymar commented he liked the watch and the person gave it to him. I can imagine the wearer saying, "I am a huge fan of yours so please it's yours, take my watch. Oh, of course it is very expensive so I would like VIP tickets to the next games please
" I suspect celebrities, footballers, models etc get given a reasonable amount of stuff, so although he thought it very (very) generous at the time, it wasn't anything unusual. I don't expect we will see him wearing it again.
