RM010 Technical Question
I was wondering if any other RM owners have experienced this with their watches. Every time I pull out or push in the crown the minute hand jumps. Honestly, this has been going on for awhile and probably ever since I got the watch but I really didn't think about it much until I started wearing my Rolex Sub this summer and noticed how smooth the crown is on that one, so I thought I'd ask the question to see if it is just the way it is or if it is time to send it away for service which would probably put me in a great state of depression since I just love wearing this watch. Wow, I think that was the longest sentence I have ever typed 
Anyway, just thought I'd ask and go from there.

Hi Chris,
Yes, same here. You should have noticed a bit a free play when the crown is pushed out. What I do is set the time and then turn the crown slightly in the opposite direction to be in this "free play" area before pushing it. This seems to work well at preventing the hands from jumping...
I think this is "by design" and that servicing the mechanism won't fix it, but let me know if I'm wrong.
It's quit normal actualy, all my RM10s I've owned(I had all metals) had or have this issue
It's not a problem actualy so you need not worry about it
I do as DMS does and also when I need to adjust the time I rotate the minutes hand in a 20 minute interval back and forth then place the minute hand to required position and then press the crown
So you don't need to service it, enjoy your watch it's a definit beauty

Thanks for letting me know it is the way it is and for the tips in helping to keep the minute hand from jumping. I will give them a try.
It is good to know that I will not have to send it away. I had to wear another manufacturer's product yesterday for a meeting with their North American President and missed my RM all day and was in a little frump about it. When I got home, I quickly swapped watches and my wife asked if I felt better now
They really are amazing watches.

yes its the same with my watch
yes its the same with my RM 10 America. I brought it to AD they said no problem.
